Missing in action

Apologies for my tardiness in blogging it has been a very long time since my last post and I have given myself a good slap on the wrist. I have been so busy planning for classes, creating new projects and generally running the business that blogging and the dreaded facebook have been all but forgotten. But no more I have lots of lovely interesting things to share with you over the coming weeks.

We have lots of new free downloadable projects which we will be adding to the website over the next few weeks and our class dates for the whole of 2012 are now available. The first two classes of 2012 were run last Saturday and both were a great success despite the afternoon Silk Painting class being down to only two attendees (I think the lovely weather and a BBQ calling had something to do with the late group cancellation). The morning Efcolor enamelling class was again a great success, with everyone making several pieces to take home. 

We have changed the class structure this year and listed all of the available dates for the remainder of the year, leaving some free for us to have the odd weekend off. The first person/group to book in for a date will be able to choose which class we run. We have 4 options listed  at present including Silk Painting, Efcolor Enamelling, Needle Felting for Beginners and Jewellery making - Chainmaille.

A whole range of additional textile and jewellery options should be available by the end of June.

New Sticky Backed Stencils Now In

We have just received a delivery of Marabu's new sticky backed stencils.  We are stocking 5 different sets, each set comes with between 6 and 13 sticky backed stencils and a small applicator sponge.

The sets are Christmas, Friends (Animals), Retro Art, Love and Butterflies. they are ideal for use on any surface and with the unique sticky backing on them they can easily be used to decorate cups, plant pots and many other vertical surfaces that are normally difficult to stencil.

Free Craft Projects Online

 Just thought I would let you know about a brilliant website called Projects4crafters it is full of craft projects which can be downloaded for free. The site is run by a lovely lady called Fiona Jones. Some of you may have met Fiona before as she runs workshops and can sometimes be seen at shows running workshops or doing demonstrations. We met her at the NEC last November doing workshops using Efcolor enamelling powders for EFCO. They were on the stand opposite us.

We Are finally Unpacked!!

Some of you will know we have recently moved  (well I say recently but it has actually been 3 months, dosn't time fly) from Caswell Nr Towcester to Overstone, Northampton.  It has taken a bit of time to unpack and reorganise everything but we are finally almost all done.

We have been having a good sort out along the way and found lots of items to add to the clearance section on our website.  We will be adding these over the coming days so keep an eye out for a bargain or two.

We are starting work on updating the website including adding lots of new lines, this will be an ongoing process but I will keep you updated as the new lines come in.
